This book is about and for you.
Many, if not all the books I have read leave me wanting and inspired, but also leave me confused, overwhelmed, and with more questions than ever, about my own future. Depending on the book and author, most of what I read is truly amazing, awe-inspiring, educational, and anxiety-producing.
I believe the only genuine satisfaction, clarity, fulfillment, entertainment, education, and personal happiness can only come from our own personal experience, solution, achievement, product, and success; never from learning about and then of others experiences, journey, and success (even if it is insanely entertaining, immersive, and selfless). In fact, in many cases, the success we read about is ultimately produced by our own interests in it and our action of informing ourselves and others of it.
I find that 90% of books currently on the market, specifically in the general subjects of success, self-help, business, wealth, and productivity are or quickly becoming, outdated. No longer containing relevant, correct, optimal, or relevant information. This unfortunately just comes with the territory of the subject of self-help, wealth, business, and success.
The times have changed. We have just gone through the greatest technological advance in human history. As the quote states on the cover of How to cut from 40 to 2, it is now and only since 2015 that technology, especially the advancement, low-cost, and far-reach of mobile technology, social media, and the internet, that new, freely-available, and system-changing opportunities for personal productivity, growth, education, success, wealth, freedom, and happiness have become widely and easily available.
One of the many examples and powerful pieces of evidence of this reality, is the educational teachings and curriculum of Harvard University. An education at one of the our top schools, Harvard and even Harvard Law, which would cost you at least $100,000 and many years of your life not including the many years of labor to pay back the cost of your education, has a cirriculum completely based upon case studies. What was not available then, is widely, easily, and freely AVAILABLE NOW. You can download or purchase any case study in human history, whatever it may be or be about, for around 10 bucks on many websites on the internet. We all know that our education system is in dire need or replacement and upgrade, but until that happens, if ever, there is much we can do now. Time spent, four years spent, learning, testing, and paying your way through a university, could be spent in a very different but much more progressive, productive, exciting, and fulfilling project. The project of researching, developing, and creating your information and media product.
Image. Our Image. My Image. Your Image. My Passion, My Drive, My Life, My Experience, My Education, My Environment, Your Environment. Your Experience. Your Life. We are all different. We are all unique in our own special way. And thank god for that. Life would be no good if we were all the same. If we all spoke the same language. If we all had the same experience. If we all had the same feelings. If we all had the same wants, needs, and desires.
Wait. To some degree, we all are unique but technically speaking, we all have some very similar if not identical wants, needs, and desires. Most of us, if not all of us, desire success, wealth, stability, good health, freedom, opportunity, love, family, and ultimately happiness, fulfillment, and purpose.
At some point in all of our lives, we come to a consensus about what our purpose and destiny could be, or is.
Then at the point, we can begin to create goals, think about ideas, and make decisions based on our realized beliefs, ideals, skills, experience, education, childhood, environment, influences, love, friends, with the hope and assumption that we have figured out the path to take to make the most out of our short lives.
