It is commonly said that to get that promotion at work, become fearless, gain positive attention, inspire the masses, and be in the top 5% ..
you will need to practice, develop, learn, build confidence, and SPEAK in PUBLIC.
 - it is also said that, "most people would rather have a funeral than speak in public .."
Let's stay positive and look ahead (: !

 Start small; Your ideas, thoughts, skills,
gifts, knowledge, art, dreams, etc.
You are familiar, experienced, knowledgeable,
 comfortable, confident, and passionate about.
Start there.

Example#2: VIDEO; My Personal Example "Setting the Tone"


     My Thoughts/Ideas/Reflections: So as soon as I felt it was important to produce and attach a personal example, visual evidence; A "Dubsmash" (Free Mobile-App) video for the sake of offering evidence of myself doing, what I am attempting/hoping/offering/pushing/
writing/telling/recommending to, the world, others .. you.

     My hopeless romantic, day-dreamy, raised in the 90's with a country-loving, single, and
beautiful blonde I called Mom.

      My immediate go-to for a fun video was, Matchbox 20, then possibly George Michael, or maybe I should Jack Johnson-it .., Foreigner would be fun, then somehow .. luckily, I stopped myself short of grabbing my phone, pressing Record, Play, GO = Do some damage to my image, reputation, lose some friends, and hurt the good ol' male Ego; I remembered my own recent advice to first make it a goal to be as useful, relavant, efficient, and effective as I possibly can (or can't). (; 

With that in mind, I reflected on my very recent video and podcast regarding,"Image" (April 2016).

    After re-watching my hopeful speech about one of my personal favorite and "grown-locally in Santa Barbara" musicians, Katy Perry. 

     I bet back in the day she was kinda in a similar boat as I and wanted to sing/perform/lip-sync many of her favorite childhood songs and performances, like the ones we used to watch daily on MTV & VH1.    
  I can only assume that somewhere during her creative process, after some self-reflection, thoughts, and ideas;
  she chose a song, image, statement, performance, words, piece of art .. that was in her mind, at that time, what she felt was the best (optimal) form of creative-expression .. ,
 
"A true reflection, expression, and extension of her unique soul."

     We all know her choice by heart, may even still love it; what we knew absolutely nothing
of before she sang it to us .. ,

     Now back to my predicament of choosing a relevant, useful, and efficient artistic example.
 An honest showing of how far I've come since my,
 
"Tears of Blood-Inducing" naive first-attempts
at BECOMING FEARLESS. 

     I need something relevant to the times (Monday, April 25, 2016), something useful, powerful, optimal, inspiring, "universally-relate-able", respectable .. but yet memorable, and an accurate-reflection/expression/
extension of my individual and unique taste..
