- We are greatly affected and take on a massive amount of information from every single person we are close to, including family.
- We can only handle so much information at once.
- We have a channeled amount of feelings and emotions as well. This explains why even the death of someone as close to us can be mildly less tragic if it's a grandmother or grandfather rather than someone who is much younger because the release of stress, emotion, time, and worry associated with illness, grievance, and loss.Who do you devote the most time to?
To be someones best friend and/or caring about someone or many people deeply is absolutely exhausting.
This is why we can only be close to and feel strongly for only the lucky few our "Sympathy Short List.
- This is why it is so important to choose WISELY your friends, lovers, groups, inner-circles based on your individual goals and dreams.
For every one person we are close with, there are many social and intellectual burdens that consciously, subconsciously, and sometimes unknowingly become our own.
